A message from the Director
Hello

The dispatchers at Washington County 9-1-1 took 212,341 9-1-1 and administrative calls for 2011. This is slightly down from 2010, but neverless each call is important to us. I would like to commend the job our employees do - day in and day out. On the average we take about 400 9-1-1 calls a day and wireless calls continue to dominate with over 68 percent of our 9-1-1 calls being from a wireless device. Come back often as we are working hard to keep up with new technology and will have new and updated equipment in place this year.
